I recently had a family client who booked a gorgeous hotel, but their kids were set on a water park experience… Turns out, the hotel pool was more suited for sunbathing than splashing! Learning to manage expectations is half the fun, isn’t it? Have you encountered any funny moments like this in your planning?
I totally get it! I had a client whose kids were expecting an all-out water park adventure, but the hotel pool was more like a decorative pond. It drives me nuts when expectations don’t match reality.
Absolutely it’s like finding that odd sock that just never quite matches anything. Regular training for employees on spotting fraud can really kick things up a notch. Have you thought about implementing any new training sessions, @t.harmon34?
I love the idea of having a poolside margarita while the kids splash about, but sometimes that’s just not the reality! It might be worth suggesting a hybrid spot next time, something with a nice pool but close enough to a water park. Have your clients ever opted for a hotel with a water park on-site?
